Congratulations to King Charles III on awards successes
Congratulations to Mike Bartlett's controversial new play King Charles III which has been nominated for a South Bank Sky Arts award and has received the Virgin Atlantic Best New Play Award at the Olivier Awards. The music for the play was composed by Music Sales composer Jocelyn Pook.

The play speculates about a possible series of events should Charles, Prince of Wales ascend to the throne of England. According to the Almeida Theatre, where the work was premiered, the play 'explores the people beneath the crowns, the unwritten rules of our
democracy, and the conscience of Britain’s most famous family.'

The 2015 Olivier Awards took place on April 12 at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. More information about the event can be found here.

The 2015 South Bank Sky Arts Awards will take place on June 7 at The Savoy Hotel and will be broadcast on Sky Arts 1 on June 10. More information about this can be found here.
