Composer Benet Casablancas will start celebrating the year of his 60th anniversary with two piano solo premieres.
The prestigious pianist Iván Martín will world premiere Capriccio. Una pàgina per Granados on 20th January at Palau de la Música of Barcelona. This is the first out of three works to be premiered during 2016, which Casablancas has written as homage to Enrique Granados in order to celebrate the centenary of his death.
On 8th February, the pianist María Canyigueral will offer the London premiere of Una pàgina per Chopin. The concert will take place at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance.
With these premieres, Casablancas begins the celebrations of his 60th anniversary, which include additional premieres and concerts, record releases and the publishing of a book about the composer and his work.
